  a lot of trust is placed on human memory.

  not just in legal cases and criminal trials, but also as evidence that certain things spoken of in the bible are true, because eye-witnesses attest to seeing these events.. but, could that trust be misplaced.

  appearance of camels in genesis called sign of authors' distance from history.biblical scholars have long been aware many of the stories and accounts in the sacred book were not written by eyewitnesses, and according to new research, further evidence of that historical distance has appeared in the form of a hump-backed camel.. new research using radioactive-carbon dating techniques shows the animals weren't domesticated until hundreds of years after the events documented in the book of genesis.the research was published by erez ben-yosef and lidar sapir-hen, archaeologists from tel aviv university in israel.

  they believe camels were not domesticated in the eastern mediterranean until the 10th century b.c.. and yet, the hump-backed creatures are mentioned repeatedly alongside abraham, jacob and isaac, indicating the bible's writers and editors were portraying what they saw in their present as how things looked in the past, says a new york times article by john noble wilford:.

  these anachronisms are telling evidence that the bible was written or edited long after the events it narrates and is not always reliable as verifiable history.

  Ah, but DJS we all KNOW that anyone who dares tread a middle ground and is not seen to scream for blood and fire is a closet pedophile, a pedophile enabler or or ... worse!

  Some of the sick minds here have already made those calculations and insinuated as much and if they knew where you lived would be forwarding plots of medieval retribution.

  Good confused, and thanks for posting these letters, they are certainly eye opening and will be a help to some.

  As you have changed your terms (i.e "you are always welcome to come see them" etc etc) it might be polite to tell them and the reasons why.... just to cross the t's and dot the i's and try and avoid the obvious path of them demonising you even more.

  Your brain will be screaming Nooooooo, but longer term it could be a good move.

  Confused you are probably correct about your mother, but cult indoctrination could be playing a large part in it too.

  I think you know that the kids will only suffer at the hands of your mother if he gets her way with them. Stick to your terms and make sure you are always present so cult indoctrination of the kids can be nipped in the bud or avoided if possible.

  Yay! Sanity may just prevail over the hysteria, ... I'm far too slow at typing and far too blunt to come up with as elegant responses as steve2 and DJS have done. I just read thru all the vitriolic tripe before and was made sick by it.

  The man is a douche, that doesnt make him a predatory pedophile as some of you clearly want him to be and be lynched as such.

  i don't want to deceive anyone and i have to clarify a few things so i'm sorry this is going to be a lot more vague then you want.

  infact if you do not already realize or also feel something is about to happen as in the title, then move along, it will be a month or 2 before i update this.
